Cartier Brings Out Jay, Beyoncé & Rita Ora

Just before midnight, the DJ booth disappeared to reveal a single mic and a three person band. At the same time, Jay-Z and a very beige Beyoncé were sneaking into the party to catch rising Brit pop star, Rita Ora. It was the first time Ora, whom many assume will be Jay’s next Rihanna, had performed stateside and the crowd went wild. After a slew of her own hits, she did a brief rendition of “Say My Name,” as a sort of ode to the Carter clan before joyfully explaining that she’d been clueless about Beyonce’s presence.

After the songstress charmed the party with her bubbling energy and thigh-high docs, she let LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy jump back on the ones and twos to get everyone dancing… though with the disco-era vibe, a few Bee Gees beats would have been welcomed.

The party may have passed, but the exhibition, Cartier & Aldo Cipullo, New York City in the 70s coach outlet online, is on public view at the brand’s New York flagship on 5th Avenue through May 8th.

To celebrate the opening of their super fancy, super luxe New York City in the 70s exhibition, as well as the launch of their Juste Un Clou coach outlet online, Cartier threw a raging bash last night. Post-5th Avenue mansion, guests headed to a 70s style pop-up club in west Soho. Never one to take a theme lightly, Cartier hung disco balls from the ceiling and built a square-paneled dance floor to beckon models like Chanel Iman and Karlie Kloss as well as fashion eds coach outlet online, downtown kids and uptown customers.
